In the course that you are creating, you want your modules (or units) to flow in a logical manner so that they make sense to the learner. If I were teaching you how to solve equations, I would begin with a one-step equation, then progress to two-step equations, before introducing multi-step equations. I would not attempt to teach this in reverse - it wouldn’t be logical!
For our Fairy Tale example website I would design the Modules in the following way:
Module 1: What is a Fairy Tale?
Module 2: Cinderella
Module 3: Rapunzel
Module 4: Little Red Riding Hood
Module 5: Hansel and Gretel
I would then break Modules 1 and 2 up into the following subtopics:
Module 1: What is a Fairy Tale?
Topic 1.1: A Brief History of Fairy Tales
Topic 1.2: Prominent Authors of Fairy Tales
Topic 1.3: Popular Fairy Tales Around the World
Module 2: Cinderella
Topic 2.1: The History of Cinderella
Topic 2.2: Major Characters
Topic 2.2.1: Step-sisters
Topic 2.2.2: Evil Step-mother
Topic 2.2.3: The Prince
Topic 2.2.4: The Fairy Godmother
In the following video, I will show you how to add topic pages to your Weebly site:
