When choosing content for your website, you must consider what is most important and appropriate for your learners to know within that topic. If you try to provide every bit of information at once, your students will get lost in the material and quickly lose interest. In online courses it is typical to chunk the information into subtopic pages that contain no more than 10 minutes worth of material - whether in videos or text or a combination of the two. By sticking to the 10 minute guideline, the learner is able to progress at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed.
Once you have chunked your information into appropriate sections, you will need to add it to your website. The following video shows you how to add text to your pages. In Module 4 you will learn to add the fun stuff - pictures, audio and video!
